Ce dimanche, le 12 juillet, à 11h00, nous nous rassemblerons au parc du coin Ste Catherine et Atwater. Un de nos membres nous emmènera faire le tour des Iles Ste Hélène et Des Soeurs, et ensuite à l’Île Jean-Drapeau pour un picnic. Notre journée de ballade à vélo se terminera dans le Vieux Port.
Vous voulez vous joindre à nous? C’est un plaisir de se faire des nouvelles amies. Amenez à manger et à boire et let’s go!
Les enfants sont toujours les bienvenus.

This Sunday, July 12th, at 11am, we’ll be meeting at the park on the corner of St Catherine and Atwater. One of our members will lead us on a scenic ride through Ile St Helene and Ile des Soeurs, over to Jean Drapeau where we’ll enjoy a picnic before heading back to the Old Port.
Do you want to join us? We love to make new friends, and always love the old. Bring some food and drinks and enjoy the ride.
Kids are always welcome.

Les Dérailleuses / Women in Gear is have a big summer planning session on Thursday, the 21st of May, at 8:15 PM.
Location: the parc on St Joseph and St Laurent,
and in case of rain: Casa del Popolo, 4813 St. Laurent, just up the street.
Bring your thinking caps, enthousiasm and calendars as we chart out the next few awesome months and get the gears turning for our first summer!

Just a reminder that there is a volunteer meeting tonight, Monday, May 4th, 6:30pm, at QPIRG Concordia, 1500 De Maisonneuve W., suite 204. (right next to Café Dépot on the corner of De Maisonneuve and Mackay. buzz 204 to get in)
There is no agenda for this meeting. We`ll be getting together to work on website content, setting up a flickr account, creating a letter head with a letter to open a bank account, working on recycling some business cards, and whatever anyone wants to do.
There are toys and kids books in the space, so if you have kids, you are welcome to bring them.
QPIRG is a sent-free space, which means they`ve asked that no one come wearing any perfume etc.

Ce soir, il y a un meeting de benevoles, lundi, le 4 mai, 18h30, chez QPIRG Concordia, 1500 De Maisonneuve O. suite 204 (à coté du Café Dépot sur le coin De Maisonneuve et Mackay. sonnez le 204 pour entrer.)
Ce soir, on va travailler sur le site web, flickr, et travailler sur quelques affaires administrative (mais quand même, fun ensemble) et tous ce que vous voulez faire ce soir.
Il y a des jouets et livres pour enfants, alors ammenez vos enfants si vous voulez.
QPIRG est un endroit sans-odeur, qui veut dire, s’ìl vous plait, evitez de porter des parfums etc.

A bunch of us represented at Friday’s Critical Mass, with bikes new and old and a make shift flag, spreading the word and having a blast with a big pile of bicycles. For most of us from Les Dérailleuses, it was our first time rolling with such a crowd, but it won’t be our last!
We are now on Facebook! Come find us and invite everyone who might be interested in being part of the free wheeling (or free hubbing, we don’t judge) action.
